Who we are

Pakistan's home of mountaineering.

Alpine Club of Pakistan promotes mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, and adventure sports across the country's great ranges — the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush, home to five of the world's fourteen eight-thousand-metre peaks, including K2.

Since 1974 we have organised expeditions, run training and rescue courses, and supported climbers pursuing the summits of Gilgit-Baltistan and beyond.
